The Waste Action Forum (WAF) is a unique, not-for-profit organisation. We represent a broad cross-section of organisations and businesses involved in waste and resource management in the UK including local authorities, reprocessors, manufacturers and retailers.

Our aim is to strengthen the relationship between industry, the public sector and government in order to improve sustainable recycling performance and waste minimisation.

Bin fine laws to be changed
The Local Government Chronicle (www.lgcplus.com) reports that Defra has launched a consultation that will prevent councils in England punishing householders who leave their rubbish bins out on the wrong day or overfill them. more
