The Waste Action Forum (WAF) is a unique, not-for-profit organisation. We represent a broad cross-section of organisations and businesses involved in waste and resource management in the UK including local authorities, reprocessors, manufacturers and retailers.

Our aim is to strengthen the relationship between industry, the public sector and government in order to improve sustainable recycling performance and waste minimisation.

Waste to landfill continues to fall
The Environment Agency has launched its Waste Information report for 2007 which shows that almost a quarter less waste was sent to landfill in 2007 compared to 2001. more
