The Waste Action Forum (WAF) is a unique, not-for-profit organisation. We represent a broad cross-section of organisations and businesses involved in waste and resource management in the UK including local authorities, reprocessors, manufacturers and retailers.

Our aim is to strengthen the relationship between industry, the public sector and government in order to improve sustainable recycling performance and waste minimisation.

Proposed plastic packaging target "not achieveable"

The "UK's largest" WEEE recycling facility, offering the capacity to reprocess up to 100,000 tonnes of waste electrical equipment a year, has been opened in Grantham, Lincolnshire by reprocessor environCom. more
