RSAMD RESEARCH LECTURERSALARY: £30,597 - £39,918 PER ANNUM

The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow invites applicants for an exciting new position of Research Lecturer. This post will work within the School of Drama to support the development of research activity within the School. They will also be responsible for training research supervisors in both the School of Drama and the School of Music, managing research degrees across both Schools and contributing towards the Academy’s research profile.The successful candidate should possess a PhD in drama, preferably practice-based. You will have an active research profile in a practice-related area and experience of supervising PhD dissertations to completion. You should also have the ability to train and mentor staff in supervising research degrees as well as developing staff in their own research interests and abilities. Academic programme management experience and an ability to work with research students across both drama and music disciplines are essential for this role.
